Delay Spray for Men

Premature ejaculation (PE) is the technical term for ejaculation that occurs much faster than you want. More specifically, premature ejaculation may be diagnosed if you have difficulty controlling ejaculation during sex, ejaculate during foreplay or soon after penetration, or experience disappointment or anxiety about your sexual performance. Note that not all delay sprays are formulated with the same active ingredients. While some contain lidocaine, others may have benzocaine or another topical anesthetic. If you have sensitive skin, consult a healthcare professional before starting a delay spray.

The desensitizing effects of delay spray typically last for 1-3 hours after applying it to your penis.

In general, you should be able to use delay spray with a personal lubricant. Be sure to apply the delay spray first and wipe any excess spray from your penis before applying lube.

Keep in mind that some lubricants contain desensitizing ingredients. If you are using a delay spray, it is best to use a lubricant without other numbing ingredients.

Because lidocaine and ED drugs such as Viagra (sildenafil) have no known interactions with each other, the two medications are considered safe to use at the same time. In fact, studies show that sildenafil can be an effective primary treatment for PE.

As long as you wait about 15 minutes for the spray to soak in, and wipe off any excess spray prior to sex. Oral sex is generally fine while using our male genital desensitizer spray. Of course, if your partner has a lidocaine allergy, you should not risk using any lidocaine products for premature ejaculation.
